In my current work from late 2025 to the present, I have been moving towards an art-making practice that embraces more of the research and experimentation techniques that I have been interested in exploring for some time, yet have not fully immersed myself in. While I am still an avid painter, I felt a desire to translate my ideas into the realm of textiles and fiber.

The work currently displayed on this page is two appliqué fish made with recycled fabric and vintage kimono scraps. The top-left image shows several small experiments in weaving, and lastly, a cyanotype of Vlad the Impaler with lace details.
